The European Tyre and Rim Technical Organisation (ETRTO) is a tire standards body founded in October 1964. From 1956 to 1964, it was known as the European Tyre and Wheel Technical Conference (ETWTC). ETRTO's activities are strictly limited to the technical aspects of tires, rims, and valves related to their installation and use. Members of the organization are manufacturers of tires, rims, and valves who have a production facility in one of the European countries.
