The ISO 9000 series of standards is one of the most well-known series of standards from the ISO organization. This series was conceived and developed to address the many sides of quality management.

ISO 9001:2015 : Quality management systems - Requirements.
ISO 9004:2018 : Quality management - Quality of an organization - Guidance to achieve sustained success.
ISO offers various standards on quality management. These standards apply to many sectors to address quality management in all its aspects.
Among these standards, three are the most frequently requested in the ISO 9000 series: ISO 9000, on principles and vocabulary; ISO 9001, on quality management and its systems; and finally, ISO 9004, which provides guidelines for sustained performance. All standards in the ISO 9000 series lead to certification, which attests to the application of the specific standard.

What this means for organizations certified to ISO 9001:2015
This new edition provides the opportunity to revise your quality management system and, above all, to ensure that it remains compliant with the requirements which are constantly evolving. Organizations with ISO 9001:2015 certification will be granted a transition period to allow for adaptation.
