Summary

This standard defines characteristics of a VOR receiver for installation in commercial transport aircraft. Functions of the VOR receiver are to receive and process VHF omni-directional range signals in the frequency band 108.00 to 117.95 MHz. It provides serial digital outputs of omni-bearing, and processes marker beacon transmissions on 75 MHz for annunciation to the flight deck crew.
