ARINC Report 655:1999

The RDC have been used for years on commercial aircraft. The extensive use of digital data transfer has prompted the need for a standard for collecting analog, digital and discrete information from sensors on the airplane. This information is digitized and processed in traditional ARINC 700-series equipment or in IMA cabinets.
