Summary

1.1 This specification covers a rubber compound suitable for use as the outer covering or jacket on insulated electrical wires and cables for heavy-duty service. The compound shall contain at least 60% natural rubber by weight.

1.2 This jacket is not recommended for installation at a temperature lower than -50°C.

1.3 The values stated in parentheses are for informational purposes only.
