This classification system may be used to formulate statistical information within the categories provided and will facilitate the analysis of injury and illness incidents. The classification system may assist owner/operators and manufacturers to review incidents directly related to their amusement rides and devices, and may provide information for alternatives to reduce or eliminate similar occurrences.
