The document shall be used for water taps in laboratories. It defines dimensions, requirements and tests for the following laboratory valves for water: Fittings of the nominal pressure level PN 10, made from metal, and applied at a max. pressure of 1 MPa, a flow pressure between 0,1 and 0,5 MPa and a max. temperature up to 65 °C; Fittings of the nominal pressure level PN 4, made from plastics material, applied at a max. pressure of 0,4 MPa, a flow pressure of 0,1 to 0,2 MPa and a max. temperature up to 48 °C.
