DIN 13000:2014-05

This standard applies to motor vehicles, excepting motor vehicles for personal use, which are, according to their variable equipment, suitable for seated persons with reduced mobility who do not depend on the medical equipment of an ambulance. The purpose of this standard is to specify the requirements of motor vehicles intended for the conveyance of seated persons with reduced mobility, unless it does not deal with motor vehicles specified according to DIN EN 1789 or intensive care vehicles specified according to DIN 75080. This standard especially applies to vehicles equipped according to DIN 75078 type B or C with additional equipment 'stretcher' and/or 'carry chair'.
