Summary

This standard applies to the transport of patients in airliners and aircraft in line-like traffic, in particular for transport by means of a special patient positioning device which is installed in an aircraft instead of passenger seats. If patients are transported on standard seats according to medical indication, the requirements also apply to their medical care and equipment.
