Summary
The document contains the requirements and the test of explosion-proof portable transfer pumps for dangerous fluids with electric motor. Compared with the former edition of the standard an amendment of the connecting voltage was made and also the adaption of the protective systems and the markings according to DIRECTIVE 94/9/EC OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND THE COUNCIL of 23 March 1994 on the approximation of the laws of the Member States concerning equipment and protective systems intended for use in potentially explosive atmospheres.
