Summary

The standard specifies requirements and tests for assemblies with direct connection for water extinguishing systems with nominal size up to DN 100. The valves are installed in fixed firefigthing systems, especially in automatic sprinkler systems. For the installation of fire extiguishing and fire protection systems DIN 1988-6 should be considered.
