This standard specifies requirements for dimensions, sizes and fields of application of types for powder extinguishing systems and describes different triggering possibilities of such systems which are intended for installations in firefighting vehicles or demountables. This standard includes requirements for the total system, for marking, documentation, for powder containers, expellant gas equipment, flowlines and valves and other assemblies. Details for testing are also described. These specifications are the basis for commissioning of firefighting vehicles. Instructions for use provide a basis for orientation of firefighters.
