DIN 14489:2010-11

This standard covers sprinkler systems in accordance with DIN EN 12845 which are used for automatic firefighting in premises. This standard applies together with DIN EN 12845 and includes explanations and information for use of specific clauses of DIN EN 12845 in Germany. This standard is not applicable: - for ships; - in underground mining; - for the Irrigation of overground tanks (see DIN 14495); - for fire protection in terms of regulations for the prevention of accidents ""Gase"". Sprinkler systems are not water spray systems (see DIN 14494).
