Manual call point (type K) for use in potentially explosive operation rooms by gases or dust

Summary

This standard specifies product requirements for manual call points for use of types of protection to ensure explosion protection. This standard is not applicable, e. g. for manual call point in intrinsically safe circuits. Specifications for planning, installation, operation and maintenance are given in DIN 14675 and DIN VDE 0833-1 (VDE 0833-1) and DIN VDE 0833-1 (VDE 0833-2).
