Summary

This standard applies to general tolerances for dimensions and tolerances of form and position for extruded profiles of plastics materials. If smaller tolerances are required or higher tolerances are permissible and more economical, a detailed specification is necessary. The standard contains three tolerances series with different grades of accuracy for the lateral or longitudinal axis of the extruded profile.

Diese Norm gilt nicht für extrudierte Profile, deren Toleranzen in anderen Normen (z. B. Maßnormen, Technische Lieferbedingungen, RAL Güte- und Prüfbestimmungen) festgelegt sind.*Gegenüber DIN 16941:1986-05 wurden folgende Änderungen vorgenommen: a) Normative Verweisungen aktualisiert, b) Redaktionell überarbeitet.
