Summary

The framework for material numbers for non-ferrous metals is given in DIN EN 10027-2. The present standard applies for metals with exception of ferrous, it applies also for alloys in which ferrous is not the largest proportion. This standard does not apply for non-ferrous metals, when designation systems according to European Standards are available.
