DIN 18008-2 Berichtigung 1:2011-04

Part 2 of DIN 18008 specifies rules for design and construction for linearly supported glazings. This part of the DIN 18008 series of standards together with DIN 18008-1: 2011-XX applies to flat glazings linearly supported at least on two opposite sides with mechanical fastenings. Glazings with additional point supports will be covered in DIN 18008-3, which is in preparation. Rules for design and construction as well as requirements for the necessary test results are specified. Vertical linearly supported glazings are differentiated as follows depending on their inclination from the vertical: - Horizontal glazing: inclination greater 10 ° and - Vertical glazing: inclination smaller/equal 10 °.
