This draft standard applies to outdoor sports areas which are turfed. It does not apply to golf courses, riding areas or lawn tennis courts. NOTE For information on golf and riding facilities, see the FLL-guideline for the construction of golf courses and FLL-recommendations for the planning, construction and maintenance of riding arenas. Under certain conditions (e. g. Areas with special use, with sub-terrain heating, with armor Systems or areas that are either entirely or partially protected by a roof, whether permanently or temporarily) it must be consider whether the specifications of this draft standard can be applied.
