Summary

The project is used in earthworks and foundation engineering and applies to the determination of the unconfined compression strength of soils. The purpose of the unconfined compression test is to determine the unconfined compression strength of soil samples on cylindrical or prismatic specimens at constant rate of compression and free lateral expansion.
