Gypsum plasterboards - Types and requirements

Summary

The standard applies to factory-produced gypsum plasterboards which are made of two sheets of mill-board affixed firmly to a layer of gypsum plaster between them. Gypsum plasterboards for various applications are defined, including those used as dry lining with or without additional fire resistance properties and those used as baseboards for plaster. Dimensions, mass in relation to surface, failure loads and degrees of deflection are given.
