This standard covers all types of window handles for tilt and turn, Tilt-First and Turn-Only hardware for use in windows and door-height windows with wooden, aluminium, plastic or compound profiles. It defines dimensions for clickable, clickable and latchable and clickable and lockable window handles. This standard does not cover handles for Lift&Slide, Lift&Tilt&Slide or Inline-Sliding-Tilt elements. This standard does not cover geared handles, in which a connector or fork serve as connecting element to the window hardward.
