The document applies to all types of lever handle units for fire doors and smoke control doors designed as single-leaf and double-leaf hinged doors. The lever handle units specified in this document comply with the requirements according to DIN 4102-5 and DIN 4102-18 as well as DIN 18095-1 and DIN 18095-2. The document does not apply to handlebars.

Notes

A transition period, as set out in DIN 18273 (2015-07), exists until 2016-12-01.
