Summary
The standard applies to the assessment of the efficacity of admixtures which influence the water retention value of fresh mortars with mineral binders in particular. The method also permits, amongst other things, the assessment of the uniformity of the water retention value of fresh mortar. It is not suitable for use as the sole method for comparing the quality of different mortars.
