This standard applies to fixed ladder systems for construction works with one upright. It specifies definitions and design specific characteristics, dimensions an additional requirements for ladders on chimneys and atenna supporting structures. This Standard does not apply to: - shaft ladders according to DIN EN 14396, - fixed escape ladder installations according to DIN 14094-1, - fixed ladders for machinery according to DIN EN ISO 14122-4, and - fixed ladders for process apparatus according to standards of the series DIN 28107.
