Summary
The standard deals with the protection of laminates made of textile glass-reinforced unsaturated polyester and phenacrylic resins for load-bearing structural members. Protection may be provided by, for example, special thin protective layers of non-woven material, protective chemical layers or thermoplastic liners. The effects of liquids and other media on laminates and the categories of resins to be used in the surface layers are given in tables.
