The standard deals with the cultivation of turf in landscaping work by seeding or the use of rolled turf, sods and sections of vegetation. It also deals with other methods of seeding in landscaping work. It does not deal with: - the cultivation of turf for sports areas, see DIN 18035-4; - seeding and turf for biological methods of site stabilization and stabilization of watercourses, dikes and coastal dunes, see DIN 18918.
