This standard spezcfies the dimensions of Machine Reamers types C, D and E for reaming Morse taper holes, e. g. taper sockets according to DIN 228-2. The previous roughing reamers (type A) and the second cut reamers (type B) are not part of this standard due to the low demand for these types.
