This standard specifies multifunction syringes, which are connected to dental units, and are used in dentistry for removal of debris in the oral cavbity of a patient by water and air. This standard specifies requirements, test methods, manufacurer's instructions, marking and packaging. This standard is not applicable to dental handpieces and motoers, powered scalers, air powdered handpieces, prohyhandpieces, suction cannula and saliva remover.
