Summary
Until availability of a European Standard for fire behaviour DIN EN 1566-1 refers to national requirements. Therefore previous specifications from DIN 19538 were taken over in this standard. For assessment of conformity and installation recommendations CEN/TC 155 intends to publish European Pre-standards (ENV). Due to this fact national standards have not be withdrawn. Therfore previous specifications from DIN 19538 were taken over in this standard as well.
Notes
DIN 19538 (1980-06) remains valid alongside this standard until 2001-06-30.
