Summary

This standard specifies a method for determination of absorption available pollutants from contaminated soils or materials and how volatile compounds can be analysed. Suitable procedures for their extraction from the initial extracts and analysis shall be applied. In this system, mobilisation of organic and inorganic pollutants from contaminated particles by synthetic digestive juices (gastric and intestinal) is tested under physiological-like and standardised conditions.
