Summary

This standard is intended to be used for ready assembled hose assemblies using hoses according to the European hose standards and hose connectors light and heavy duty series according to those parts of the International hose connectors standard ISO 12151 which are taken over as German Standards. This standard contains information about the most important criteria for selection and reference of hoses and connectors, the primary installation and connection dimensions as well as the requirements for the installation of hose assemblies. Recommendations are given in this standard for storage, life cycle and necessary inspections to ensure the full functionality of those assemblies.
