The document applies to rock bolts made of steel. The document specifies basic regulations for design and setting of rock bolts as well as testing methods for the properties of said bolts in as supplied conditions and after strata bolting. By the choice of the key properties and their parameters the user is to be made sure that rock bolts once set behave as scheduled. The above-mentioned choice can be made according to the configuration of tasks in each individual application case or for whole application ranges stipulated in regulations which are not part of this document.
