Chain connectors - Part 1: Flat type connectors

Summary

Flat type chain connectors according to this standard are used in mining to connect round steel link chains as per DIN 22252 and flat link chaines as per DIN 22255. In flat link chain strands the flat type chain connectors shall not be used in vertical position. Flat type connectiors according to this standard are not allowed to be used as load-, sling- or fastening chaines in sense of DIN 15003.
