Summary

The standard contains the ergonomic and lighting-technological basic specifications for planning of shield supported or chock supported coalfaces, except for the face-end area as defined in DIN 22434-3. At Coalfaces there are several operating processes which proceed simultaneously. As a result the employees have to deal with different kinds of tasks and visibilities where cap lamps does not suffice.
