This document specifies the ergonomic and lighting fundamentals for the planning of lighting installations in the T-junction area. Lighting installations shall fulfil the following requirements: clearness of the driveway, working place and transportation area and to facilitate hazard identification especially while working on roadway supports and in the back of the conveyor as well as to identify people and objects from an adequate distance. Furthermore, they should be able to identify hazards caused by surmounting transported material and to facilitate controlling operating elements and realizing maintenance work on the equipment.
