These graphical symbols are used to show measuring instruments, gauges and auxiliaries in a simplifies way in drawings in dimensional metrology. Using the graphical symbols as elements, measuring installations can be shown which consist of various parts. They can be combined as appropriate and used for the purposes of e.g. sientific publications, books, slides and measuring instructions.
