This standard is applicable to fire resistant fluids of the group HFAE, which preferably will be used for the hydraulic power transmission in hydraulic systems in coal mining.*Fire resistant fluids of the group HFAE are oil in water emulsions with an inflammable mass part of at most 20%; it is essentially beneath as a rule. They are appliacable at operating temperatures between 5 °C and 55 °C.*This standard lays down characteristics and requirements for the usable emulsion as well as for the concentrate, which is necessary for the production of the emulsion, and for the utility water. Additionally are specified characteristics and requirements for the test water, with which the characteristics of the usable emulsion are to be tested. Moreover instructions are given for the production, application, supervision and service of the emulsion.
