This document applies to horizontal cold chamber die-casting-machines with locking forces from 630 to 25000 kN for the processing of non-ferrous metals. The object of this draft standard is to enable installation and exchange of die-casting-moulds in machines of same or roughly same construction size by means of an ingenious graduation of the construction sizes and standardized connecting dimensions of die-casting-moulds and -machines. The fixed nomenclature shall be used in advertising-, quotation- and sales documents for the purpose of fast and unequivocal understanding and information.
