This standard is the first part of a series of standards. The parts are: Part 1: Metal gratings Part 2: Metal folded profiles (sections) Part 3: Plastic gratings. Metal gratings used as stairtreads in machinery plants, smelting plants, rolling mills and other parts of the industry. If the stairtreads are used for access to machinery, the provisions of EN ISO 14122-1 to 3 shall be fulfilled.
