Summary
This document applies to measuring at complete running gears for coaches, railcars, motor-coach trains, locomotives and power heads under compression. It specifies several measuring processes. These are for testing and adjusting the interfaces concerning the body, for determining the vertical wheelset forces at the contact points and their distribution and for the identification of faults by installation of components.
Notes
Under certain conditions, DIN 25043-1 (2012-02) remains valid alongside this standard until 2016-02-01.
