Summary

This standard specifies dimensions and requirements for glove boxes. The purpose of the standard is to give uniform guidelines to manufacturers, suppliers, users and authorities on dimensions and requirements, in particular on the leak-tightness of gove boxes. The standard shall be applied to glove boxes which are used for handling radioactive materials emitting ionizing radiation. The standard shall not be applied to glove boxes used in processes on a technical state.
