Summary
The standard describes a method for the determination of the uranium content in UO2(NO3) solutions. After transfer into a nitric acid solution, uranium can also be determined in UF6, UO2F2 and powders or tablets of U3O8, UO2, UO2/Gd2O3, (U,Pu)O2,(Th,U)O2, and UALx. The potentiometric titration is only little influenced by other ions.
