Summary

This standard applies to the disc brake of railway vehicles and treated the mechanical part of the single and double-acting disc brake. The general scope of this document is defined in DIN 27200: 2011-11, Clause 1 and 3.1. This standard describes the technical target state for the following modules: a) brake linkage including slack adjuster and friction; b) Handbrake / parking brake; c) Operation and changeover devices; d) brake cylinder (without function test).
