Summary

This standard applies to cast iron ventilated axle mounted disc brakes of railway vehicles, which rotate with same axcle rotation. Aluminum disc brakes are excepted. For different types of the designated versions this standard shall apply mutatis mutandis. The general scope of this standard is given in DIN 27200: 2011-11, Clauses 1 and 3.1.
