This document defines protective suits which are worn during handling and application (splashing and spraying) of diluted mixtures of pesticides and gives requirements concerned. Minimum requirements are given for the textile material of the protective clothing concerning mechanical strength and tightness. By the special situation of exposure during pesticide application, penetration of agents will be determined by a special test method ( Atomizer test according to DIN EN 14786:2006). Handling undiluted concentrates requires additional PPE like aprons, protective gloves (for pesticides) or visors.
