DIN 32981:2015-10

This standard specifies with regard to blind and partially sighted persons requirements to additional equipment of stationary traffic light systems and pedestrian crossings in street space, in connection with DIN EN 50556 (VDE 0832-100), DIN VDE V 0832-100, DIN EN 50293 (VDE 0832-200) and the guidelines for light signalling equipment. As for systems under reconstruction or being additionally equipped with a subsidiary signalling the temporarily used system shall include additional signals for blind and partially sighted persons. This standard is also applicable to transportable traffic light systems for crossing or joining traffic in case of additional signals for blind and partially sighted persons being required - please see type D of TL - Transportable light signalling systems 97.
