This standard applies to direct-acting gas pressure regulators including any associated devices such as safety shut-off devices, thermal safety devices, leakage gas safety relief valves, gas low-pressure cut-off valves and gas flow monitors designed for inlet pressures through 5 bar (MOP 5) and working temperatures in the range from -20 to +60°C featuring nominal diameters through DN 100 and intended for gas installations pursuant to DVGW Code of Practice G 600 (TRGI) or G 459-2 and DVGW TRF 2012. The requirements of this standard apply to larger-diameter devices mutatis mutandis. This standard is applicable to gas pressure regulators operated with gases in accordance with DVGW Code of Practice G 260.
