Summary

The standard is applicable to barrier-free accessible playground equipment and for the redesign of existing playground equipment for barrier-free use in a public unsupervised area (without permanent supervision). It applies analogously if existing playground equipment will be redesigned for use as barrier-free accessible equipment.

Notes

DIN 33942 (2002-08) remains valid alongside this standard until 2016-10-01.
