DIN 33961-1/A1:2014-01

This part of DIN 33961 specifies requirements and test methods for the operation of fitness clubs and for the operation and facilities of primary and secondary preventative fitness training supported by training equipment devices. This part of DIN 33961 applies to facilities of which the entrance and supervision are specifically regulated by the owner (person who is in charge for the legal responsibility). Additional services such as sauna, child care, solarium etc. are not included in this part. This part of DIN 33961 does not specify requirements for stationary training equipment according to DIN EN 957 (all parts) and medical training equipment according to directive 93/42/EEC.
