This standard applies to shapes, dimensions and designation of straight pattern conical plug valves with conical connection for installations which are operated on gases according to the DVGW code of practice G 260 and under allowable gauge pressures of 5 bar. The present number of E DIN 3438:2009-03 is no longer valid, this standard has been published again under the former number DIN 3434.
